Sidewall protection is good... however it is not.... I repeat, NOT.... girlfriend/fiancee/wife proof!

Even if that so called rim protection protuded out another inch, it would not protect the wheel in anyway. It wouldn't even protect the wheel if it was off the car and you just rolled the wheel towards the curb let alone with the weight of a car behind it. The standard GTI brakes are more useful on a tuned ED 30.  :rolleye:

dropped her off to get some crash damage repairs!   :sad1:

Some wally hit me up the back before Christmas, not much damage luckily but a hole in the bumper and a slight dent on the boot lid. On the plus side I'm also getting a key scratch on the rear wing sorted out at the same time!!   Every cloud......
