Got impatient when trying to fit my chrome fuel flap switch and have now knackered the grey surround of it!. Door card wasn't budging easily at the bottom, so in frustration I pulled at the card below the switch which prized the plastic away from the switch surround enough for me to lever that up instead. With difficulty I could then pull the old switch out (breaking it in the process) and just about manage to lever the new one in. Anyway when I slipped the surround back into place it doesn't fit neatly. It is sticking up because I think I have stretched the door card plastic next to it when I was pulling at it. It doesn't look awful, but I am pissed at myself for being so hamfisted! I only have myself to blame for trying to rush it

My folding mirrors with puddle lights arrived today. Got an extra surprise........anti dazzle glass! Wee bonus!

Pity is snowing!

Careful you don't break them, new glass from a stealer is £130!

Yeah, two minds just to sell it as I live in Scotland and we don't get much sunshine.

Would pay a bit of the bill of the original retrofit aswell.

Cheers. Yeah, I try to do only the easiest things usually because I have limited skill and do tend to lose my patience!

Received these in the post today  :jumpmove: I've gone for gloss black on the lower inner sections still waiting for the toe cap and front inner piece to arrive. Any tips on fitting these?

Now just to order my coilovers... AP APX or GAZ?

Well we've had no snow at all during this past week and guess what when I want to do something it bloody snows  :fighting: I crazily decided to remove my front splitter.... It had tried to snow all day and once I finished work well it decided to snow 10 times stronger... So I waited until about 6 o'clock to remove it... 30 mins later it's off :P Me... cold, wet and sh*t up lol, but it'll be worth it  :happy2:
Same again on Sunday to get Gtiain's splitter off and replace it with mine  Preferably with no snow  :P

That would be Niall and the team - got my rear bumper and front splitter from them - great quality finish. Had them on at least 6 months and all good. - the car on their ebay listing is mine  :signLOL:

Rear bumper - easier to remove the whole top and bottom sections together and then unclip old and reclip new bottom section

Front splitter - the old one is easier to get off than the new one on. You do not have to remove the front bumper, but it does take a lot of pushing and pulling to get the new splitter on due to the curved shape. You need to work from one end and really make sure the clips are pushed in fully as you go, and don't worry when you get near the end and it looks like its too short, keep pulling and clipping and it will work. I would attach your new middle section after the main red bit is on the car  :happy2:
