My front grill has really deteriorated over the last few months, firstly the GTI badge snapped off (someone may have tried to nick it I think), the lipstick had cracked and there was a small crack that I hadn't noticed.  When I removed the grill, it looks like it's had a repair at some point in the past, hmm.

Anyway, thinking this was going to cost me mega bucks I looked quickly on the bay of fleas and grabbed a new Grill with GTI badge / VW badge, lipstick all OEM from eBay for £50 delivered!

Carries all the OEM part numbers! Great value.
Now I get to play about with the original lipstick / badge colours.

To this

Had a local seat trimmer do it for me and did all new leather plus the grey stitching and red stitching and also made sure all stitching was 100% correct for airbag deployment as he does this kind of work all the time he charged me £60 so am very happy

Very neat job there, a pro.  Looks new now, worth the £60.

Any details Mat?

The GTI isn't just a machine. It's very much a living, breathing thing.

£60 is a bargain for that! I paid £120 to get the bolster on my old BMW sorted.
