Good lad!! I did similar to a Range Rover Sport the other day attempting to boss it past me!

That's what I like to hear :happy2:

And I unexpectedly went through the Hindhead Tunnel going to Portsmouth! Was fun :p

Watch for the speed cameras in that tunnel though  :scared:

  I saw them! My average speed was 70!! Just not 70 at all stages lol! Nice road the A3, have to say. Some nice countryside aswell to look at.

Got the aircon regassed. First time since I've had the car. Should be ashamed having not done it earlier. Apparently, the clutchless compressor VAGs use tend to fail very quickly if there's little refrigerant in them.

The GTI isn't just a machine. It's very much a living, breathing thing.

They are wicked!! I love mine although mine are hella!

In other news, saw a white mk7 GTI. Changed my opinion of them. Actually looked good an the definately the stock wheels for it character.
A mk6 GTI also tried it on....he failed, but the gtr followng him didn't get past but he stuck to me!! Crazy!!

Changed the B-pillar glossy trim, fudged up the driver's seal and chopped off a couple of inches so it would fit back.  :fighting:

Full pics of the car with Climair wind deflectors. I didn't bother with the rears, I think they blend in well enough with the rear tinted windows.

....The rears make a big difference to natural air ventilation in the car (I dislike and never use aircon). The trick is to have all 4 windows down just a fraction and not below the Climair's bottom edge.

If you have a sunroof (as I do  :pomppomp:) the rear deflectors become even more important in releasing air pressure when travelling at speed on a lovely sunny day or under a starry midnight sky.

....Had a good nosey around a silver Mk7 GTI yesterday and it didn't make me think I would want one. I would far rather have a Mk6 Golf R.

The Mk7 dashboard shape is great and rather BMW but much too much silver chromy bling - Yuk!!

The Mk7 looks like a bigger car now and somehow has totally lost the hot hatch look. It could be another Audi such as a squashed A1 and looks too bland ex-factory.
