Spent most of today trying to remove the oxidation from head lights and condensation from rear lights. Came to the conclusion I'd be better of upgrading and replacing both!
I did this on Tuesday. One headlight. Took me all afternoon
The Megs Plastic X wouldn't shift it sufficiently so i had to resort to wet sanding. Cacked myself at first but i've actually got good results
Only 2 problems remain now: 1.) I have to find time to do the driver's side light 2.) I will need to regularly wax them both until i can get something a bit longer wearing than the dodo-juice wax i have as they will both have f-all UV protection otherwise (not that it prevented them from oxidising in the first place)
Wish i knew what threat they were under when i first bought her - then i would have waxed my headlights every time i washed her to prevent this situation ever occurring....
