My mate is having an F1 party, cooking us all breakfast and then we're looking forward to the madness unfolding! 

I'm glad they're looking at cancelling the stupid "more wins=championship" idea, all sport works on points, get over it Ferrari!

I, for one, liked the idea of most race wins = championship! I really dislike how drivers kept going for consistency results. At least the new rule gave drivers a reason to fight for the win, and not just settle for second/third and turn the engine down.

I am gutted that they are thinking of getting rid of it!!

I, for one, liked the idea of most race wins = championship! I really dislike how drivers kept going for consistency results. At least the new rule gave drivers a reason to fight for the win, and not just settle for second/third and turn the engine down.

I agreed with the principal of what they were trying to do.  Getting drivers giving it some is definatl;y the way to go but i do think that wins = championship is the wrong way of going about it.  At the moment a win will only give you 2 points over 2nd, well why not give the winner 15 points to realy give an advantage, consistancy will still be needed but you coulddnt give too many wins away.  Dont forget, this is (IMO) the obvoius way but they changed the points scoring in 2003 to "keep the suspence lasting longer" and that little noob coulddnt do a u turn.

Yeah good point Ben. A higher difference between 1st and 2nd would solve the issue as well!

From what i can gather, depending on whether the outside broadcasters are using hd camera equipment. Obviously BBC wont be using their camera's at every race so fingers crossed on that one.
