Quick update for today: Still stripping various bits of interior. Before the standard GTI seats were sold I thought I'd weigh them out of interest. 74.1kg they come in at so a decent bit of weight saving there. Hoping to replace them with a pair of Recaro Pole Positions:

75 for the pair lol.
Rs4 / s3 buckets are about half the weight. They eere significantly lighter anyway.

I have some pole positions coming, ordered on Tuesday, 3 to 4 week wait.

I should have worded that better, 75kg for fronts and backs. Bet you can't wait, where did you get yours from out of interest?

Bought mine through Storm Developments (I sold the owner my RS4 seats). Used their trade account.

I paid £1800 on the nose delivered. Retail seats are £630(something) + vat each, £133 for side mounts and £85 for mounts (?)
I paid about £520 per seat plus vat and other bits plus shipping

Small update last week - rear wiper delete:

looks good i cant even see the glass bung. don't think i could live without my rear wiper though.
