Having had a very brief flirt with a Mk7 Fiesta ST, I have seen the light and got myself a 2006 3dr GTI. Only 74k and generally in pretty good shape. So far had it for 2 months and already completed a few jobs...

- New headlights
- Cambelt, waterpump and new thermostat
- Stereo changed to RNS510 style unit

Now just to enjoy it over the winter.....

Very tidy one! Nice to see a OEM one too  :congrats:

Any plans?

Nothing major, once it has coped with winter and proved reliable then I may treat her to an exhaust, induction system and a stage1 map. A few areas of bodywork could benefit from some paint, but I want to keep it looking OEM and I think it just looks right as it is!

Very nice. Nice to see another "standard" 3dr being looked after.
Has it not got an aftermarket exhaust already? Those tailpipes look a bit big and shiny!
Getting too old for this...

I did wonder about the exhaust originally, but it has had the audi trims fitted, they were black when I got it, but came up nicely with some autosol!

Well you've done a top job on them.

Cool garage btw.

Not my garage, Its our work plantshop, just makes a nice warm and dry place to park it overnight and do some tinkering if there is some spare time! :happy2:
