Indeed it is..... he's quite handy with a camera! (and as we spent most of the time in similar places.. I didn't bother with mine!)

Nice pics I had 20 minutes there on the way to work, managed to time it when their was a wedding on the start line of the strip.

I was actually quite gutted to see Matty beat the beetle in that run! a Dzus fastener worked loose and jammed itself in the Gear Shift mechanism of the Bug... he ran a 13 with only 3rd gear!!!!!  

*EDIT* Just noticed a couple more things too... .my Mrs is lined up behind the beetle,... and that Video was taken not too far from where I was stood on the VIP Gantry...

That chariot has been fully crash tested too...... it acheived an NCAP rating at Big Bang a couple of years ago when we (drunkenly) pushed it (and it's pilot Polly) into a bin that we didn't know was full of concrete.... then ran off giggling like children!!!


(Her Fiance was the cheif protagonist BTW...)
