Interested on the outcome.
Would be a mega sweet mod to the led lights.
Just need someone with a steady hand and patience.
Wouldn't trust my skills.

The Center Section, Brake Light as a Tail Light is PIN 4 of the Tail Light Connector, Black/Red on the Driver’s side, and Black/Violet on the Passenger side.

....I assume that as the original How-to comes from America, our driver's/passenger's sides are the opposite wherever it is referenced.

Red - apologies for some reason I have obviously misread your post  :ashamed:. The how to guide was from an American forum but the writer of the guide is from Australia and if im not mistaken they are on the same side of the road as us :signLOL:

Mine have arrived now and I'm itching to do it or to get someone else to do it

It will be interesting to here how your guy gets on.

Wondering if wire needs to be chased from the outside tail unit to the tail gate unit for the new leds to be in sync with each other.

All waiting on you RR.

Think I'm getting out of my depth now
Trying to resolve the led dual lighting I.e brighter when braking. Do I need to get some kind of variable resistor or can it all be controlled through vcds? Like in the how to? Anyone with vcds know?

Just an update to say I spoke to my mate Chris today and he's done one of them and hopes to finish them in the next 7-10 days. All is looking good, he says.
