hate speed bumps, since taking my summer wheels of 18s, and putting 16 inch steelies on i cannot go over the speed bumps that have 2 abreast, the ones where the whole speed bump goes between your 2 wheels ?
i ever so slightly get a rub on my cat even though my CAR IS NOT LOWERED  :surprised:
Just moving from 18 to 16 must just be enough for it to rub, would find it really hard to drive a car which is lowered a lot due to the amount of speed bumps around where i live.

I thought there wasn't any difference in height / rolling distance between 16, 17, 18 rims because the tyre profile compensates?  Assuming the +- 2% rule http://www.etyres.co.uk/tyre-size-calculator.htm

I'm off down to CC Tuning in Burton on Trent to get my emissions light mapped out and get the car on the rollers to see if I've gained anymore ponies from the straight through exhaust etc. Last time it made 185.7bhp.

Excust the dirt...really needs a wash :ashamed:

I fitted an APR HPFP and new cam follower this morning.

Started snowing halfway through so I had no option but to carry on.

My car has the 2 metal pipes but a 10mm ratchet spanner for holding the m8 splined bit worked perfect for removing the banjo bolt.

Early days yet, but checking misfire count has drastically reduced on VCDS, certainly cleaned out a lot of crap judging by what came out the exhaust!!. Car starts quicker on the Key I will say, but won't know over the next few days about improving mpg.Motorway test run was rather fun shall we say  :driver:  :happy2:
