Not today, was May 16th, but only got the pics today. Used the Golf as a bridesmaids car for my wedding  :smiley:

Full clean before remapping

Now that the car has an Evoms intake with 3" downpipe with sports cat it's ready for the remap in a couple of weeks, since it's been so nice I've fully cleaned inside and out, taking the time to restore the plastics with 303 Aerospace Protectorant, looking pretty nice now.

Fingers crossed the upgraded fuel pump and remap go to plan with no nasty surprises.

Snapped this pic of the cylinder walls...they show a tiny bit of piston skirt slap, but nothing too concerning. Valve job is complete and just waiting on a new piston...then new piston rings and rod bearings...and done :drinking:
