Today : 2x Goodyear 225/45R17 ASYMM5 94Y XL fitted to the front for £157.00 (rear tyres still have loads of tread)

Next week:
External detailing and ceramic coating by a mobile chap*
MOT & Full service

*Some barsteward keyed two of the doors recently  so this guys paints in all scratches and chips as part of the process, and it was only a bit more than having the two doors resprayed and at least this way I see something for the £££
Black MkV Gti (Nov 2008), no modifications

Made the switch today from OE coils and PFR7B plugs w/0.7mm gap....to New APR coils and BKR7EIX plugs w/0.8mm gap. I have no feedback yet...only took it for a gentle drive into town and ran around doing errands. I did notice the mpg was easy to reach near 30 mpg...when before it took effort to make 27 to 28 mpg.

Went swimming with my key in my shorts. Thankfully the key still works fine.

Replaced my Magnaflow Sport with a Zinram Engineering catback. Going to miss it but looking forward to having the valve back.

A very sad day for me - put my lovely Eddie up for sale https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/144152156960
 :sad1:
Very reluctant but it's a second car now and doesn't get used a lot.
I know I'm an idiot, you don't need to remind me

Sadly funds don't allow at the moment but good luck with the sale sure you'll have no problems shifting it. What are you changing to?

Got frustrated as after changing many parts to find my warm/hot cutting out and non-starting fault I'm waiting for a fuel module to cure it.

My light switch was a bit tatty so i decided to risk it and get a cheap one off aliexpress, so far it works and looks the part, we'll see how long that lasts. Not bad for 6 quid.

Easiest job i've ever done I think, less than a minute.

New rear disc shield, no more rattles!

Replaced the Rev G DV with another, seems to have cured my lack of boost even though the old one had no visible tears.
