Bought and fitted the Rev R PCV. Also bought a n/s door mirror as the glass just popped off this morning, £36 later fitted it. Also ordered in Millers Nanodrive for the cars 6000mi service

Can I ask where you got the mirror from? My drivers side glass wobbles at speed, so I don't think it will be long before it drops out :signLOL:

Get a bit of silcone or no more nails on it before you lose it and save yourself a few quid  :happy2:

I'll definitely give it a try, thanks  :happy2:

It's a common enough problem, did this to mine two years ago and still going strong, just don't use too much, or you block the heated mirror element  :happy2:
I would of kept it and glued it back on. But mine chipped on the corner of impact

This could be a really stupid question, this is my cam follower I removed, is it worth keeping and using again for a few thousand miles once my other one has worn through or just get rid?

I would always choose to replace them because you have already done the work getting at it. I would also note the mileage and determine whether or not to exceed or equal the mileage for the next replacement interval. You must be running a stock HPFP...that follower looks to have another 40k miles left on it in a stock HPFP, but no one really knows. A stock hpfp should allow the follower to run a minimum of 80k miles.

It's in the garage getting the outer CV boot replaced, clutch bled and diagnosing why the offside rear brake is binding.

Replaced my standard RCD 300 and hazard light switch for a Kenwood DNX 521 DAB and a cherry red hazard switch. Looks SOOOOO much better.

Replaced the 70AH standard battery with a 77AH Varta E44 as recommended. Top service from Tanya.co.uk.

Just given the mighty GTI a lovely bath to wash off this weeks road crud - also topped up the oil and hoovered the inside
It is usually about now it starts chucking it down!  :signLOL:
