Yes, apparently Jenson is popular amongst the other drivers but talented as he is (and they all are), he doesn't have the killer instinct of a racer as Lewis does. Both good but Lewis has more style.

Hamilton vs Button.  i think this season has summed that up easily.  Everytime they have gone wheel to wheel (excluding the crash) hamilton has won.  Button is a great driver if his car is perfect.  If its not he's a mid field runner at best.  Hamilton will drag his car round irrespective of how good its running.

To me its getting like the comparison of Massa and Alonso.  Every now and then massa gets the edge, but its short lived alonso always wins, (which id rather he didint :fighting2:). same wit Lewis IMO.

Agree he is abit arrogant at times, but who cares, hes there to win races not to make friends.

I agree with that comparison of Hamilton v Button.
Both are fantastic on their day but if it's not Jenson's day then it doesn't happen at all, sadly.

Lewis on the other hand will still go at it and try and drive the wheels off the car. :driver:

Lewis is the 'racer' with a similar attitude to Senna and Schumi in his younger days. Jenson is perhaps a bit like Schumi is nowadays.

I like both Lewis and Jenson as characters but Lewis has the edge on track and you know he'll entertain. I much prefer Jenson's girlfriend though  :drool: :love: :drool:

Points wise over the last few years theres not much between them, but Button has managed to get plenty of wins/podiums without becoming an arrogant, selfish carachter. Amongst the current drivers in F1 Hamilton doesnt have many friends and its not hard to see why, look at the stunt he pulled in front of de-resta, that was selfish and showed how he gets so easily frustrated and spits his dummy out.

But F1 has been brilliant this year :laugh:

Totally agree, F1 this year is really good to watch.

Loving the fact the 2nd half of this season is changing from the Red Bull dominance, come one McLaren kick some @ss!  :signLOL:

An excellent season so far. I also enjoyed last season very much and it makes it even more annoying that SkyTV is sticking its oar in!  :fighting: But that's discussed in another thread here.

He did seem to initially move over a little but not as aggressive, and maldernaldo was still behind before when he did so maybe he didnt know he was as close... but maldenaldo blatently pulled alongside for that.

I think he should have been disqualified personally. I think it was fair to reprimand hamilton for the kiss on that quali lap, as neither had right of way as they were flying laps,
