Went to a local hillclimb on Sunday. It's always a good sign when on arrival you spot a few nice cars as you stroll across the car park of an event:

I've been to Gurston Down a couple of times. Did you walk "down" to the finish?

On a personal note washed mine and my mothers car as she is coming to pick it up this weekend after getting the all clear following on from her breaking her humerus in June.  :pomppomp: :pomppomp: :pomppomp: :pomppomp:

Played Golf this morning at a new club which I am thinking of joining (Tehidy Park, Cornwall) it was an early 7.20am tee off (so I could be home for 11am and do some work!), enjoyed the course (altho I was playing quite VERY badly today! (91FFS!!!!) :ashamed:), anyhow after my final drive on 18th tee went right (it happened a lot today! unusually!!) I wandered over to find my ball and a chap was walking down the practice ground past me and being a new face he stopped and we had a chat about the course (as you do), turns out he recently joined the club, anyhoo I digress, fast forward 20 minutes and I am just pulling out of the parking space and the same chap comes walking over waving, he told me he had seen my car in the car park and wondered whose it was, he was saying he had never seen a Candy white Ed30 in person before (Fair enough, neither have I  :happy2:), so I answered a few questions about the car (What exhaust, intake, remap etc), then asked him what he had......."07' plate Edition 30, black 5dr!", turns out he has a few mods too, has an ITG intake (Blue Peter toilet roll and Grannies clunge sponge), Milltek TBE and an AMD map ( :surprised:).

....So is he joining this forum? Or did you blank him as soon as he said he had a Milltek?

Nice to meet other enthusiasts in person  :happy2:

Yeah told him Milltek's were poo and gave him Dave @ BCS' number   :signLOL: :signLOL:

All joking apart he was asking about the BCS exhaust and how it works, I did NOT ask him how many times his DP had cracked and been replaced!

I told him about the forum, not sure if he will join?, forgot to ask if he had his numbered plaque too and what number it was  :ashamed:

If I join I will see him again and hopefully get to look at his car then and ask him about plaque and joining here etc! :happy2:

Is that a Legal plate Carlo? Could do with a new one for mine as I have just bought an American style front number plate holder and hope it will fit!

Kind of mate. It was a fully legal plate. I just cut the sides off. Should be ok….I hope. :innocent:
