Thanks buddy!  :drinking:

My mechanic wasn't able to source thin enough silicon hoses to replace the cracked hose of the EVAP canister. I ordered two sizes (7 mm and 9 mm of inlet diameter) but they will only arrive at best next week. Not so sure when I'll have the car ready now. At least he'll have time to test drive it well enough, I guess...

This is some proper piece of kit! Big brake kit with the Ultraleggeras look totally badass!

I am running the same H&R springs as you and I also used to previously have the Sportlines on. I switched to the H&R because I wasn't happy with the rear being slightly higher than the front on the Sportlines. Now that I have been running the H&R's for some 2000 miles, they also sit a bit higher at the back. The H&R's also sit slightly higher than the Sportlines at the front, I believe the difference is about 5-10mm on my car.

Just out of curiosity, have you noticed that the H&R would sit higher and could you possibly measure the distance between the center of the wheel and the top of wheel arch? :) Mine used to be 330-335mm front and back with the Sportlines and now it is 5-10mm more with the H&R's.

Thank you for your comments!

I still have my Ed. 30 with my mechanic. He should have (finally - almost 2 weeks to arrive from Air Mail!!! Must have taken 2-3 trips around Earth before it arrived at my home...) received the silicon hose for the EVAP canister today.

Now I just hope the hose fits and I can get the car back soonish as the the car will go under road tests after having the hose fitted. I'll make that measurement then and will get back to you with an answer. I'm expecting to have the car leveled as others have reported.

The car is back on the road for tests and rattle noises elimination/reduction. The 1st rattle to be removed was the exhaust manifold heat shield that was rubbing the OEM air box. There's another new one from inside the dashboard, behind the glove box.

I hope my mechanic can sort all the last issues fast and no leaks come up.

Maybe this will help:

Yeah that was one of the rattles. :drinking: I saw a Facebook post about this with a DIY a few days ago and I remembered that it was one of the possible causes. I shared the link with my mechanic and that was the last rattle that he sorted. The car also had some dashboard bolts and some small stuff not tight. The car is ready to be picked up! :partywave:

Now I just have to see when I can go there (200 miles away). I'm still trying to see if it's possible Thursday or I'll have to wait till Saturday.

Yesterday was a long day but very rewarding! Got my car back! :jumping:

Went to get it with a few friends and after I went for a drive with one of them.

Really happy with it but I know it will get much better after it gets a custom tune.

Yeah! Modding this engine was a lot of time consuming to my mechanic and since he only worked on his spare time I had to be patient. He made sure he could do everything to prevent future problems. For that I don't mind too much waiting.

The exhaust manifold heat shield, IC tubes, OEM airbox, oil catch can hoses and EVAP hose all had to be modded to make sure they weren't rubbing or making pressure on other parts.
